Shared VPN Provide secure VPN data connectivity services to multiple government departments ina Shared Virtual Private Network environment.Note: This service is not available to new customers. The Service will be terminatedwhen all existing customers have been migrated to a Dedicated VPN Service.

Dedicated VPN Provide secure dedicated VPN Network connectivity that enables Data, Voiceand Video capability, aligned to each customer’s specific business requirements.
  • Dedicated MPLS VPN services that provides for fully convergent solutions (Data, Voice & Video).
  • Manage Customer site Routers (Customer owns site router equipment).
  • Wide range of Bandwidth
  • Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum SLA to suite customer needs
  • Providing access to Transversal and Unique Systems including disaster recovery services.
  • Access link for connectivity of customer sites to the nearest SITA POP into the Dedicated VPN.
  • Quality of Service for traffic prioritisation.
  • Fully managed via the SITA Network Operations Centre.

Internet Connectivity Provide secure Internet Connectivity:
• Customers on the Shared Virtual Private Network have access to Shared Internet Connectivity service package for which bandwidth is allocated on a regional basis.
• Customers on Dedicated Virtual Private Network have access to Dedicated Internet Connectivity service package with bandwidth specifically allocated including local and international control traffic capability.
  • Built in upstream anti-spam and antivirus filtering service which checks and filters mail before it traverses the link between SITA and the ISP.
    Both inbound and outbound mail filtering (excluding filtering mails internal to a VPN).

Fully Outsourced Dedicated VPN Provide secure fully outsourced and dedicated VPN connectivity that provides Data, Voice andVideo capability, aligned to each customer’s specific business requirements.

Remote Access Provide customers with convenient remote connectivity to the Government Virtual Private Network and IP connectivity between any private network and the Government Virtual Private Network. Remote Access (VPNC):

  • Provision of connectivity from a fixed line / LAN environment from one VPN into another.
  • Caters for the mobile workforce as it can be used from any place that the client is able to connect to the Internet.
Remote Access (APN):
