  • SITA is a member of the Internet Service Provider's Association (ISPA), and as a result has adopted ISPA’s Code of Conduct.
    -
The ISPA Code of Conduct, the Takedown Procedure and related documentation is available at www.ispa.org.za/code

  • Since SITA obtains Internet service from an upstream ISP (currently Internet Solutions) both for its own use as well as for provisioning to Government clients, it is obliged to accept and enforce the Acceptable Usage Policy of its service provider. The AUP can be viewed here.
    -
Furthermore, SITA is obliged to comply with instructions issued by the DPSA from time to time regarding acceptable usage and content filtering. These instructions are issued both to SITA as well as the Government clients directly and are not published for general access.
