The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) in the Western Cape, including its satellite offices, comprises of approximately 160 employees, 13% of whom are contractors. Apart from the satellite offices, all employees are housed in a modern, centrally-located building in Observatory, Cape Town. All our employees are aware of the challenges we face and are totally committed to achieving the objectives of our clients. We currently focus on investing in learning and growth capabilities, improving efficiency of internal processes, providing value to customers and exceeding their expectations. This increases the financial gains of all our customers. The client base is extensive and crosses all tiers of Government, i.e. Parliament, National Departments, Provincial Government,Metropole, District Councils and Municipalities. Amongst its services, SITA’s Western Cape office provides wide area network (WAN) and local area network (LAN) support, desktop services, business solutions, information systems security, e-services, printing, training, etc. This range of products and services mean that we make use of various distribution channels, and in all cases contracting is done directly between SITA and the client. With increased service delivery at cost-effective prices becoming more and more important to business, SITA Western Cape’s regional strategy is focussing just on that. SITA Western Cape treats every customer as if he / she is the only customer.
