The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) in KwaZulu-Natal, including its satellite offices, has approximately 232 employees, 59 of whom are contractors. Apart from the satellite offices strategically placed in KwaZulu-Natal, our main office in the province is in Pietermaritzburg. All our employees are aware of the challenges we face and are totally committed to achieving our customers objectives. Amongst its many services, SITA’s KwaZulu-Natal office provides wide area network, and local area network and desktop services, professional services (which include business solution delivery, business advisory services, commercial off-the-shelf training and project management), information systems security, hosting services and data centres. This range of products and services ensures that various distribution channels are utilised, and in all cases contracting is done directly between SITA and the client.
